The Landscapes2 Policy Papers begin with an overarching Goal, followed by supporting Objectives and Policies, and ultimately, an Action Plan that will detail specific implementation strategies. Each Policy Plan will serve as the basis for one element of the updated Chester County Comprehensive Plan. Coordination with all of the remaining elements of the plan will be critical to its overall success.
The draft Goals, Objectives & Policies of Landscapes2 were developed based upon comments and concerns identified through the research and preliminary public input phases of the update process. Some of the existing Objectives and Policies have been retained; others have been modified or expanded. New policies have been added in order to create a comprehensive strategy for balancing growth and preservation in Chester County.
